Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Milk

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in ,

I was clearing my vanity space when I realized there is another Estee Lauder Moisturizer that have not been reviewed (I believe there is a couple more lol).

Similar to the Radiance Serum, I could no longer find any info from Estee Lauder's website.

Estee Lauder Says:
A lightweight, fast absorbing milky lotion.
Refreshes skin in morning for a radiant, healthy look.

Contains advanced skin-drenchers & essential minerals
Helps protect skin from daytime dehydration & external aggressors.

Fortifies skin natural ability to revive skin.
Skin appears soft & energized
Suitable for Asian skin types

Foxy Frangipani Says:
Nett Wt: 50ml
Made in: UK
Price: I forgot... sorry!
Skin types: All
Color: White
Texture: Milky, similar to Hada Labo Moisturizing Milk
Scent: Fruity

I quite like this because its texture is milky, hence easy to spread on.
Absorbs almost instantly, leaving my skin really hydrated.
Non sticky too.

When I used this, I was still sitting at my old cubicle space, which wasn't as cold and drying. Hence for me the hydration effect was sufficient and satisfactory. Only thing is.. it doesn't contain SPF.

Redeem It! Estee Lauder Cyber White Ex

Read newspapers?
Got The Star on Saturday 26th June?

Cut it out and head to your nearest Estee Lauder counter. I've got the serum and moisturizer samples. I've previously tried the lotion moisturizer (not bad), now getting the cream version to sample.

Cheers :)

Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Radiance Serum

Ooh counting down.. 6 more pumps and I'll be bidding farewell to this serum...
I did a quick search for this and I don't find many reviews about it, I wonder why?

And, it is no longer listed in Estee Lauder's website. Discontinued perhaps?

It took me about 4 months to finish this up, as I only use it daytime. 3 pumps to comfortably massaged into my face and neck.

What Is It?
Name: Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Radiance Serum
Nett Wt: 30ml
Made in: UK
Price: RM175
Skin types: All
Color: Clear
Texture: Quite runny
Scent: Faint fruity, which quickly disappear in seconds

Estee Lauder says:
From the Nutritious collection, exclusively at Nordstrom. This silky serum infuses skin's natural glow with a look that's vibrant, energized, simply amazing. Bursting with essential vitamins, minerals and potent fruit extracts. Speeds natural skin cell turnover.

The Nutritious collection: Neutralize. Purify. Infuse. Enjoy the energized look of radiant health, thanks to the power of pomegranate and more. Love your skin. Love your life. Be radiant.

Foxy Thinks:
Hmm I'm not sad bidding it farewell.. Its not that I don't like it. This is a very basic serum that moisturize, that's all it does for me. *shrugs*
I don't know about the "bursting with vitamins" part, other than keeping my skin hydrated I don't see radiance. Definitely not saving me from looking like a zombie whenever I slaved at work and got stingy with sleep. *another shrug*

Oh, and this takes a lil longer to absorb.. but I usually do a lil massage so it doesn't really bother me much.

Well... taraaa Radiance Serum. I think I like the Nutritious Vita-Mineral Moisture Milk better.

Estee Lauder Hydra Complete Multi Level Moisture Eye Gel Creme

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in ,

Pic from Estee Lauder's site.

I finished another jar of eye cream, yay!

Estee Lauder Says:
Product Details:
Gives the delicate skin around your eyes the feeling of endless hydration with this refreshing gel-creme

Benefits:
Hydrates away fine lines
Eye area looks revitalised

Replenishes Moisture Around Eyes
Includes a proven combination of mineral rish Bio-Water and exclusive Hydra-Insulation technology.

Exclusive Biosine helps this vulnerable area maintain and strong moisture barrier.

Soothes Lines, Puffiness
This delightfully refreshing gel creme instantly hydrates away fine, dry eye lines.

Overtime, an innovative blend of  Hypnea Algae Extracts helps reduce visible puffiness

Foxy Says:
Texture: White creme (didn't look / feel like gel-creme to me)
Scent: Light powdery, not over-powering
Size: 15ml (the one I used was a 5ml jar from GWP)

Overall, this is another so-so product from EL. It came in a jar, I didn't really fancy dipping my finger into it and then dab on my eye areas (but I like keeping jars hmm). I use a mini spatula for all my jar/tub creams.

Does it hydrates well? I'd say not bad. A basic hydrating eye cream is what I'll label this. Nothing more. Eyes area looked fresh and moist, feel moisturized; BUT this doesn't last all day.
Max for me is about half a day.

Won't be re-purchasing this unfortunately.

Estee Lauder Optimizer Pore Minimizing Boosting Lotion

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in ,

Such a long name!
What attracted me to this was the "Pore Minimizing" feature. Yes I know we cannot change the size, but nevertheless each time I came across products like this I can't help but to day dream visualizing pore-less complexion!

No I didn't buy the full size product, hee hee. I got two mid size samples from some GWP. And I have finally finished both of them. Time for a review!

Colour:   White
Texture: Runny, gel-like consistency
Smell:     Like fresh forest (each time I pat this on, forest came into my mind)
Size:       125ml, I think.
Price:      Hmm not that I remember, but somewhere $140?

Estee Lauder says:
Infuse your skin with refreshing hydration while you enhance the benefits of Idealist Pore Minimizing Repair Serum. This silky-translucent Optimizer includes purified Black Bamboo Extract. Found in China, Black Bamboo is known as a potent natural anti-irritant. It works to keep skin calm so it can focus on looking its best.

It leaves skin refreshed, hydrated, luminous and more refined.

Foxy says:
After weeks of using this I don't find my pores were minimized (kinda expected)
But it did hydrates my skin, and it feels fresh when patted on.

I find this a so so toner.
I don't think I'll purchase this though..

Confession of a Potion Addict

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in , , ,

It took me months before I give in and admit this: - I'M A SUCKER FOR LOTIONS AND POTIONS..

As usual, weekends are damaging to my purse. I came back with $380 worth of Estee Lauder and Clinique products *grins* I'm euphoric.. The highs of getting more new creams, serums - even after-shopping guilt don't come close.

I should be alarmed you know (bloody hell yeh). Should have seen my cosmetics collections. To start of with, I already spent a huge chunk on Dermalogica last December. But heck, I've gotta give Dermalogica some credits - they LAST!

8 months down the road, I still have about half a bottle of the cleanser left (and for the record, I gave 100ml to mom to let her try). And yes, I wash my face at least twice a day :P My fave - "Special Cleansing Gel" and "Essential Cleansing Solution".

Just last month the salesgirl from the salon was bugging hell outta me asking me to replenish. Crazy... why replenish when I still have loads to last me probably months down the road? She just don't understand human language and was being very pushy, at the same time trying to educate me on how to wash my face... to the point I almost wanna insult her skin condition.

The toner is pretty alright (I never really understand why we need them, just water to me, hehe). "Skin Smoothing Cream" is not oily (it just oil away my $$$). It does leave my skin well moisturized, well till the time I leave work and get into my car... the heat - I hate the hot blazing sun!

Not going back for the mask though. "Skin Hydrating Mask" is dehydrating. The facialists want me to slather on a thick layer for max 3 minutes in order to get the max effect, else it dries you up. Honestly, I'm freakin not gonna use a timer to time exactly 3 mins or get moisture sucked outta my skin. Yeah I fibbed a few times saying I actually use it every two days.. in fact, I switched to Skin Food's "Creamy Cheese Mask" and a whole list of other face packs (you'll faint when I list them down, I'm sure of it)

And during my recent facial session, the facialist actually said - "Hmm your skin is well hydrated, enough moisture". I was thinking " yeah go on thinking its the Skin Hydrating Mask that did this wonder.."

So I'm almost running out of my day moisturiser, hands were itching to get something new. Good lord, couple of weeks ago my knees went weak for Benefit Cosmetics (yes yes yes I bought some), now I've got my hands on some Estee Lauders.

The red packaging for their Nutritious range is so damn enticing. Got myself these:
- Nutritious Vita Mineral Moisture Mik
- Nutritious Restorative Night Creme

And these minis are the gifts:
- Restorative Night Creme
- UV Protector SPF50/PA++
- Vita Mineral Moisture Gel Creme
- Vita Mineral Radiance Essense
- Vita Mineral Energy Lotion

Extra gift: Purifying 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser.

Smells so yummy I wanna use them right away. But old faithfuls could still last about 1-2 weeks? Darn... I really really wanna use new stash!! :S

Oh, this spoilt girl also bought:
- Clinique Pore Minimizer Refining Serum
- Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector
- Clinique Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief

Nooo... I'm not that spoilt.. its the minikit that comes in a pouch ok. I just wanna see if those products really work. :P Oh boy, I need to go sort out my stash now... And boss? I need a raise.. *more grins*
