Nett Wt:30ml
Scent: Mildly sweet
Price: This was a gift
Texture: White, cream
This was a surprise gift from a friend at work. He just knew what to get for a lady! Hehe. This 30ml tube last about 4 months - because I alternate with my Crabtree hand cream too.
I like that it is non sticky. I wash my hand like 8 times a day at work, and must massage cream on after each wash. Does not make me icky about using the keyboard after the cream. Hands are comfy with this cream too, it does keep dryness at bay. Feels supple.
Now the thing with the scent.. it is not bad, but its not my favourite scent. Smells sweet, if anymore would appear plasticky.. like super sweet vanilla.
The packaging in foil makes it easier for me to use all of the product. Simply roll it with a pen, no wastage! :)

Okay, I'll admit it. I bought it because of the price - super super cheap for a hand cream! Who could resist? The scent is actually very refreshing, very limey - the orange oil (why did they label as fragrance free?)
Absorption was quick, and leaves no oily residue or feel. Honestly I can find no fault with this hand cream - IF you're looking for a light weight hand cream. It does moisturize well, just that the staying power is not as long as Crabtree Evelyn's.
At one point of time I find the ingredients rather fishy.. goat's milk? Pure royal jelly and honey - for RM6!? Hmmm...
Anyway, I finished this tube, and not really intending to re-purchase.
I wonder why..
Crabtree & Evelyn Sonoma Valley Hand Therapy
Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in Crabtree Evelyn, Hand CreamThis is one of the hand cream in my favourite list. I love love love the smell, so comfy, soft, like staying in a cosy home kind of feeling. :D
I have this by my bedside, and is a staple each night before I sleep.
Slather on very well, absorbs quickly and soft hands are mine.
It is non sticky and will not stain keypads. I have another one tube at work.
Am not too sure if Crabtree Evelyn still has this, my last couple of visit; I don't think I notice this. Don't go EOL please!
I don't quite fancy the screw cap.. Maybe I'm clumsy. Sometimes I find it a hassle screwing it back or it will just drop off :P
Price wise, probably a little on the pricey side. But one application lasts a couple of washes.. so I didn't have to re-apply very often. Except that I do, cause I really like the smell.... :)

Nett Wt: 100ml
Scent: Strong lime
Colour: Very light pastel green
Texture: Gel-creme
Price: RM 95 (I paid RM15 for this + a amall jar of honey)
Made in: USA
This was introduced as hand serum, to be used before Hand Therapy; hence understandably the texture is light. But to be honest, even for a hand cream addict like me, I find it troublesome to slather on 2 different products..
In a non-air conditioned room, this Hand Remedy does a pretty good job at keeping my hands moisturized. Lasts a couple of washes as well. However, am rather disappointed that it doesn’t give as much hydration in air-conditioned office environment. My hands at times still feel rather tight after applying this. Bummer.
On the positive note, this smells amazing (if you like lime). The scent lingers on and serves as a pretty good pick me up. Very refreshing. And absorption is instant sans oiliness.
Can’t vouch on the evening out skin tone or anti aging claim – my hands are in good condition, except for one mark due to joss stick burn, ouch. I don’t think any product could get rid of the mark sigh.
So if you only require very little hydration for your hands, this may be a good buy.
Except I think it is rather pricey.. I rarely purchase on full price.
Here is a summary of my purchase experience:
Crabtree & Evelyn periodically launches new products, and their members usually get to enjoy a special intro rate. Last year I when they launched the Rose Essence skin collection, I purchased 3 items:
- Day Cream
- Night Cream
- Mask
I had a little problem with the Day Cream. It came in a pump (which is good) and being labeled as cream, I expected – well, cream in texture (duh!). But when I used it, the texture was watery and curdy – like runny yoghurt. It didn’t smell funky, just looked not nice..
Not wanting to risk my skin (having said this, I used it for about a week yo!) I took it back to CE to clarify if the texture was common. They took one pump and instantly offered an exchange. Ahhh I didn’t even have to ask for it (would be a different story if this was some other high end beauty counters).
Because Rose Essence was a limited edition product – I couldn’t get another replacement for a Day Cream. So I decided to replace it with the Citron Hand Remedy. I ended paying another RM15 for this and a small jar of honey.
Yes I did pay slightly more, but the whole experience was pleasant – plus I came home with great products. Would be a shame if I keep the curdy day cream ;)

The Good:
~ It does absorbs almost instantly, without leaving any oily residue (my keypad loves!)
~ Not slippery when I wash my hands either.

Keep your hands smooth, soft and youthful-looking with this piquantly-sour Thai fruit punch. Starfruit, Star gooseberry and Indian gooseberry contain high amounts of natural Vitamin C – a potent antioxidant.
In Thailand, these tropical fruit are also highly popular delectables. When fresh, we like to eat them with a chili & sugar dip; or they can be eaten like prunes-pickled or dried. Try it and let us know if it deserves a thumbs-up!

Colour: Very light pastel green (almost white)
Texture: Creamy
Price: I think it was 75 Baht
Re-purchase: Maybe
So how did this fare compared to the Papaya Fruit Salad Hand Cream?
I like the fresh limey scent of this hand cream. Sourish but very refreshing.
Its absorption rate is very quick, and is non-oily.
It doesn't "scar" my keypads haha.
I only use this at home, hence I don't know if this works well under constant air-conditioning. Hydrating factor is satisfactory :)

Hmm another tube finishing by tomorrow~!
This has a sweet scent, kinda strong; so may not be for everyone. It does lingers on for a while though.
Absorption is good, only a couple of seconds for me, and leaves no trace of stickiness or oiliness. Plus point.
However under air conditioning, the hydrating function doesn't last long. Probably stretch to about an hour max, or after each hand wash. Not a good hand cream for me at work, but when I used it at home, I was pretty happy with it.

I went shopping yesterday at Watsons and as usual I took my sweet leisurely time studying the products one by one.
And then something caught my attention. I've never seen it before. Looks cute - check price tag - OMG - under $20.
Grabbed it and studied more into details..

More Be Gorgeous product when I came to the bath and shower section.

Guardian Moisture Therapy Hand Cream - Cocoa Butter & Vanilla
Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in Guardian, Hand Cream, House Brands
Do you like house brand products? Or do you think they are cheap and low in quality?
I find myself more willing to try house brands these days, probably because:
- the recession (haha)
- the packaging is much nicer now
- the products look like they'd do a pretty decent job while saving some $$$.
I bought this Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Hand Cream for only $5.74 - 350ml.
What a steal!
I'm happy to certify that this hand cream is keypad friendly!
I love hand creams, and my number 1 requirement is that they don't leave my hands feeling sticky and stain my laptop. I'm always with my laptop (work and home), and I hate the shiny oily stain some creams leave. But no.. this is perfect! Well absorbed within a few seconds.
The smell... mmmmm for a mo I was thinking hard for that word. Smells so familiar...
and then... SARSI!!! Yep, smells sweet and Sarsi-ish.
I don't know how long this bottle will last me.. I use it like every hour or so.
Its now standing proudly next to my laptop :)
I love this as much as my Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Butters... muaks!
I love it more for the price!
