It is very rare for me to actually finish a tube of lip balm. I'm very surprised when I find I could no longer twist the tube up! Look at the worn look of the tube lol.
This lip balm isn't like Carmex where the texture is too soft. This is firmer and won't melt. It has a soft smell and when applied on disappears in a few secs.
I like how this balm doesn't irritate my lips. No tingling or redness. But makes my lips feel plump and soft. No waxy layer; my lips feels like mine :) One application can last me a couple of hours too.
I wouldn't mind repurchasing this despite being slightly more expensive than the regular drugstore lip balms.
I see a lot of raves for this lip balm so when I first saw it in Taiwan I didn't hesitate getting 1. The reviews sounds very promising so I had really high expectations on this little fella.
First the texture. It is super soft and buttery. So soft it easily gets dented. Still this doesn't bother me much as I'm not clumsy with stuffs.
The killer is its fake medicinal smell. Wait maybe not medicinal but very chemical-ish. And the waxy feel on my lips.. no go. These 2 puts me off from using it though it has SPF.
Upon application it gives a tingle and feels cool. But I don't think I will continue using it. Definitely not a repurchase.

I got this from Daiso, RM5 for a lip gloss seems reasonable.
This has a thick serumy feel; but spreads easily and does sink in. It made my lips look glossy, fuller and feel moist.
However it is not long lasting. I like this for nightly treatment. Slather on generous layer just before hitting bed.
May not be tempted for repurchase but definitely a great choice for travels.

I bought this together with some other lip balms and elbow greases some time back, and am finally willing to review it haha!
What attracted me to this was:-
- The cute tin!
- The cute drawing on the tin :P
- The flavour of the balm
Well yeah, the tin is cute - small and handy and comes in a sliding top.
I got this even though I don't really fancy dipping my finger into it and don't really want to use a brush each time too, but you know when the packaging is cute and fancy...
So I just put this by my laptop.. and each time I feel a little dry on the lips, I use this (wash hands prior of course!!).
It tastes like... bubblegum! Sweet and candy like.
I don't know about winter (I wish I have it here!) but this keeps my lips soft and comfy. Long lasting power too (only need once, unless I feel like finishing this fast). Doesn't feel waxy.. just smells realllly sweet.
The only thing I don't really fancy is the purchase experience.. The items got delayed like.. more than a month.

I usually go for Green Tea Latte, but decided a change to Hazelnut Hot Chocolate instead. Hmm somehow I still prefer Green Tea.. I think either the milk or the beef rice dinner is making me a lil sick ugh.

I swatched the Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses lip tint and was quite impressed. Like the shade 700 Nothing But Nude, and when I tried to rub it off 10 seconds later, nothing happened. Hmmm like permanent marker haha.
Got this for RM29.90
And I tried it once I got home, the shade appears a little darker.. like coral. Like it, and will try it again tomorrow...
And, it is raining heavily now *nice*
Cool and windy.. I think I'll go and snuggle.. happy weekend! :)

Hmm this is about the 3rd time I re-write this post because Blogger failed to save it! Grrrr..
Each application left me with uncomfortable tingling feel, especially on my upper lip. Then followed by slight itchiness. Fortunately it did not cause redness.. I guess it could be the menthol.. but I'd rather not risk this. Itchiness usually comes with redness and I don't like to look like I have cold sores...
The only thing I like about this is the SPF 15.
Couldn't wait to finish this.. I'm currently saving this for weekend home use.
