It Happened Just Like That...

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in

.. on a random day, after a few extra hours at work. I was having late dinner at the mall (wrong move).

While waiting for food, I logged in to Facebook (another wrong move) to find - Dressing Paula is having a sale!

Now I've always like the dresses from Dressing Paula, but mostly resisted paying RM120 for a dress (I shopped too much, so on self imposed restraint). This news was just too encouraging it is a sin not to pop by to check out the sale!

And so I came home with 3 dresses and 1 belt. Lemme just show you the plastic bag for now, as I'm busy packing for my Korea trip - I'll be leaving tomorrow :D

Oh, and over the weekend, I got myself a pair of new sunnies (yep Korea Trip was the excuse) and also a reshaping gel-cream (hmmm wedding was the excuse? Or since the idiotic gym's opening is postponed for the 129834th time...)

Oh and finally a Mr DIY store! So I stocked up more on cute notepads.. and also got myself a set of 3 hangers for my new dresses (*roll eyes*) and a bamboo beater.

Hmm "beating" promotes circulation, and I need alot of it since I sit for long hours... wonder if I can bring it on the plane for my 7 hour flight? Lol..

Lastly some magazines.. Poor Fiance is gonna have a ball of time translating these.. lol.

Oh check out the makeup book by Siao Kai (RM36.80, NP RM56) it came with a nice pouch.

Foxy Frangipani Says:

..... (silence). I don't know what to say about this product. I don't hate it, I don't like it either; like drinking water. Here is a better description - I will not buy it.

Like the eye cream, it does nothing for me.
I do like its jelly like texture, so easy to spread; and its not pore clogging. Non oily. But just not hydrating enough. No firming properties. Hmm I just don't see the point..

Toss!

Avon Solutions Hydra Radiance Cleanser

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in ,

Last year I used to get really excited waiting for Avon's bi-weekly newsletter. I stopped visiting Avon when they implemented this silly rule: They will stop sending  if you did not make any purchase in 6 weeks. And you have to pay RM1.40 if you want the booklet. Insane rule! Those who are not making a business out of Avon products - isn't this ridiculous to expect customer to keep on purchasing?

Foxy Frangipani Says:
Scent: Like bedak sejuk, fresh
Nett Wt : 100ml
Price
: RM4 (sale price)
Texture: Gel
Color: Clear

Anyway, this is one meh cleanser.. it does not wash away makeup and it certainly isn't hydrating. Easy to lather, but not much foam. What is worse is that even my hands feels dry after washing.

Definitely no radiance. Ok for morning use or when I'm home all day without makeup. Shrugs... toss! (I finished it haha)

Lelan Vital OSC Essential Oil Serum

Foxy Frangipani Says:
Scent: Very strong, deep scent!
Nett Wt: 30ml
Price: RM45 (together with a bottle of Rosehip Oil)
Texture: Non sticky, runny
Color: Brown

The first time I used this, I got a huge shock. The scent is extremely strong.
Like deep, sweet hawthorn smell. And the scent lingers on for a good couple of hours. So if you don't like scented products, stay away from this.

I'm about to finish this, because I quite like this. Its runny texture allows me to spread it easily. Used alone, it does not leave sticky residue / feel. I usually add about 3 drops of Rosehip oil to this, and its a yummy nutrient for my skin.

With the Rosehip oil, it can be abit sticky. Pat on some powder and I'm good to go. Moisturizing properties are great; even better with the oil combo. Does not break me out. Not too sure about firming though.

I'd really love this if the smell is notch lower.. On certain days (bad hair days) the scent bothers me.. like wearing perfume on my face.. :P

Space Clearing

Yesterday I decided that my tiny bathroom is getting toooo tiny, so I did a spring clean.

Look at the amount of bottles and jars that I manage to get rid of! Blogging backlog ugh. I usually keep them until I blog about them; and lately blogging is taking a backseat for overtimes at work >_@

But the good news is, my bathroom is alot neater now!

Beauty Tool: Tube Wringer

Posted by: Foxy Frangipani in

One of the beauty buys that I will not regret :D

Meet Mr Wringer! Hehehe he has helped me to squeeze every bit of products out from the tube. I use this for cleansers, toothpastes, and most of the time, hand creams!

I spent RM35 for this from Jurlique Salon. Expensive yes, you could probably get this from the hardware store for a fraction of what I've spent.
